Stories about
Students
George Folley's story George Folley originally came to Aims for another program, but when he toured the college's media communications labs, he knew he was hooked on audio engineering. Everyday from 4 to 5 p.m., George hosts a show on Aims student radio station 88.1FM.
"It's pretty awesome to see the high-level equipment here for students to use," he said.
Folley plans to complete his certificate in radio production this summer then continue at Aims earning an associate degree in accounting.
"Aims is a good school, it's got a nice welcoming atmosphere. It's a great place to start your college career. You really get a solid background before you go to a four-year school. The instructors really care about you and how you're going to succeed. And after class they'll help you out if you need it." Read about another student |
