Toni Sprenger's story

Toni Sprenger came to Aims with the notion that she would major in Construction Management, but after her first two weeks of class, she knew she was hooked on Computer Aided Drafting.

This mother of two said she recommends Aims to everyone. One of her daughters is earning her general education credits here now, and Sprenger said she talked her neighbor into coming back to school at Aims as well.

"I've always felt very comfortable here, like I fit in. I've never felt like an outsider," she said. "The instructors are so easy to work with. I absolutely love coming to school."
Sprenger said she is grateful she was able to secure a work-study position in the CAD labs.

"It's been a big advantage to me," she said. "I get to work on the software myself and train other students on it too."

Sprenger, who graduates with honors this spring said her dream job would be to work in mechanical drafting.

"CAD rocks," she said. "I recommend Aims to everyone because you can get all your general education credits here for much less before you go on to a university."
