Accessing and Using WebCT Quizzes
Step One: To access a quiz, click on the Quiz link in the Course Menu or click on the Evaluation Tools icon.
Note: If the Course Menu is not displayed in a column on the left hand side of your screen, click the green triangle to display it or use the drop-down menu to locate the Discussions link. 
Step Two: If a quiz is available, the quiz title will be blue. Click on the title to access the quiz.
Note: If you clicked on the Evaluation Tools icon on the homepage, you will see a Quiz icon on the Evaluation Tools page. Click on the Quiz icon to access the quiz page above, then click on the quiz title.
Step Three: On the Quiz Introduction page for the selected quiz, you will see information about taking quizzes in WebCT including notes for Before you start the quiz, When you are in the quiz, and Troubleshooting. It is a good idea to read this material before you click the Begin quiz button. If the quiz is timed, the timer does not start until you click the Begin quiz button.
Step Four: The quiz window opens and gives you information about the quiz. If the quiz is timed, the timer begins to count down.
Answer the questions by clicking inside the circle or square next to a multiple choice or true-false question, using the drop-down menu for matching questions or typing in the text boxes for short answer or essay questions. Make sure that you click the Save answer button for each question.
When you are finished, check the Question Status area to make sure that you have answered all of the questions and saved your answers. Click the Finish button to submit your quiz.
A pop-up message will inform you if all of your questions have been answered and saved. Click OK to proceed.
A new pop-up message will ask if you want to submit the quiz for grading. Click OK to submit your quiz.
When the quiz is successfully submitted, you will see a new Quiz Submitted page with the words Success in green. If you see a View results button, you can click it to see your quiz.
Depending on instructor settings, you may see your entire quiz, including your answers, correct answers and instructor feedback. You can also view other data about your quiz. This information is also available to your instructor.
You can also view your Grade on the Quiz page. For more detail, click on the View scores button if it is available. (This depends on instructor settings.)
The Scores page gives you more information about your quiz. To view the quiz results again, click on the numeral in the Number column. If you are allowed to take the quiz more than once, you will see additional numerals in the Number column, one for each attempt.
