Complete the online application, or apply in person at any Aims location. On your application be sure to select, "Will not graduate or transfer, but will take classes for personal interest only."
Complete the online New Student Orientation
The online New Student Orientation will help you get off to a good start at Aims. This is not mandatory for students taking classes for personal interest, but it may be helpful in explaining how things work at Aims.
Assess for college placement or provide transcripts
Assessment is only required for courses with prerequisites such as English, math and science. Assessment is not required for courses such as physical education, art, or conversational foreign language.
Assessment may be met these ways through proper documentation:
* Scores are valid for a period of three years from the date taken.
** Grades must be within the past 10 years.
Otherwise, visit an Aims campus to take the Accuplacer assessment. For more information and for access to review resources, visit the Testing Center webpage.
