Tasks to Complete Prior to Registering

  1. Bring in your filled out Affidavit of Lawful Presence and your Colorado State issued ID/DL to one of our Admissions and Records Office if claiming a Tuition Benefit.(Link to HB 1023)

  2. Apply for Financial Aid (if applicable).

  3. Set up your security question to access your Username and Login Password

  4. Meet assessment standards for Math, Reading, and English by one of the following ways:
  5. Consider type of degree or certificate program you are interested in.

  6. Preview the course schedule to consider what you want to take and what kind of schedule you want to have for the term of interest.

  7. Review your student information to make sure that there are no Holds on your student records that would prevent registration.

  8. Set up an appointment with an Advisor in the Student Success Center to assist you with choosing classes and providing information on degree choices.
    • If you are a degree seeking student attending Aims Community College and it will be your first semester attending you will have an Advisor Pin Number that you will need to you when making a change to your schedule online.

  9. Obtain billing information for tuition and fees. See Tuition and Fees
    • Fall Semester: 25% of your tuition and fees due by 10:00 p.m. August 18th, 2008, or if you register for a course after the 18th, 25% will be due the day of registration. If a payment is not received then you will be dropped from your courses.

      The only exceptions would be for the following:
      • Student Financial Aid, or
      • A private scholarship or third-party that will cover at least 25% of the bill.
      • All payment or paperwork must be received (not postmarked) by the term payment deadlines to avoid being dropped from all courses.
