Application for Admission
A completed Application for Admission is required of all new students and students returning after an absence of one year. This applies to all students, including those taking courses for self-improvement or personal interest. Print an application to return to Admissions and Records

Audit Request Form

Course Challenge
A student may challenge a course for which the student believes his or her prior training and/or study are adequate to meet the instructor’s course requirements.

Change of Information
Change your name, address, phone, number, major, or advisor.

Cooperative Agreement- CSU
Full time CSU students can qualify for up to 1 course (5 credit hours) for free per the Cooperative Agreement. Form is to be completed and submitted at any Aims Community College Cashiers office at time of registration of the Aims course. Forms can be printed, completed and submitted at time of registration. Completed forms will not be accepted by email.

Cooperative Agreement- UNC
Full time UNC students can qualify for up to 1 course (5 credit hours) for free per the Cooperative Agreement. Form is to be completed and submitted at any Aims Community College Cashiers office at time of registration of the Aims course. Forms can be printed, completed and submitted at time of registration. Completed forms will not be accepted by email.

Early Grade Request
All grades are processed after the semester ends. A student needing an early grade must fill out an Early Grade Request form and return it to Admissions and Records. The student is responsible for informing their instructor of the request.

Fresh Start Petition
You may attempt to improve your overall GPA by eliminating all previous coursework from the GPA calculation. To be eligible, you must be returning to Aims from an absence of two calendar years or longer. More details are on the second page of the petition.

Grade Replacement Petition
You may attempt to improve your overall GPA by repeating up to 4 courses in which you received a final grade of "D" or "F". Under this program, only the grade you receive the second time you take the course will count in your GPA. More details are on the second page of the petition.

Graduation Application

Petition for In-State Classification
If you are classified as out-of-state for tuition classification purposes, and believe you qualify for in-state tuition, complete and notarize this form, then return it to Admissions and Records along with supporting documentation.

Proof of Emancipation
If you need to prove that you are emancipated for tuition classification purposes, complete and notarize this form, then return it to Admissions and Records along with supporting documentation.

Registration Form (blank)
Current students may complete this form (including their advisor’s signature if applicable) and return to Admissions & Records for processing.

Release of Confidentiality
In compliance with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) regulation 34 C.F.R. part 99.30, the disclosure of information from a student’s education record requires the parent or eligible student to provide signed and dated written consent before Aims Community College discloses personally identifiable information from the student’s education records, except as provided in section 99.31.

Transcript Request
Transcripts must be ordered in writing. The student may request a transcript in person, by fax, or by mail.

Transfer Credit Evaluation Request
All undergraduate credit hours awarded within the prior ten years from any accredited higher education institution will be transferred into an Aims Community College Degree Program if they apply to the completion of the student's graduation requirements. Credits older than ten years, however, will also receive careful consideration for transfer.

Western Undergraduate Exchange
Aims Community College participates in the Western Undergraduate Exchange Program (WUE) during this academic year. If you are eligible and approved for WUE tuition rates, you will pay reduced tuition rates equal to one and on-half times the normal out-of-district rates in place of the out-of-state rate.
