Allied Health Advising

Our health programs are among the most popular programs at Aims. Students interested in each health program are REQUIRED to attend an orientation where information about the program, waitlists, and careers will be presented. Students are then welcome to meet with an Allied Health Sciences Academic Advisor and enroll in classes.

• Registered Nursing Orientation: the second Tuesday of every month at 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. in College Center Room 729. Doors close promptly at 12 p.m. and 6 p.m.
  
  
• Radiology Technology Orientation: third Wednesday of every month at 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. in College Center Room 729. Doors close promptly at 12 p.m. and 6 p.m.
  
  
• Surgical Technology Orientation: the second Tuesday of every month at 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. in College Center Room 729. Doors close promptly at 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. (Same orientation time as registered nursing.)
  
  
• Nurse Aide Orientation: dates vary, consult current class schedule. Registration for Nurse Aide courses can only be done at the orientation. Please make sure you have submitted and application for admission to Aims Community College and have met the reading assessment requirement PRIOR to attending the orientation. Contact the Assessment Department for information regarding the reading assessment.
  
  Nurse Aide Orientations for summer 2008 and fall 2008 terms:
  Greeley Campus - General Services Building Room 276 at 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
  Loveland Campus - Meet at the front service counter. Orientations are at 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
  Fort Lupton Campus - Room 101 at 12 p.m.
  
  Monday - October 13, 2008: Last orientation to register for remaining Fall 2008 Nurse Aide courses.
