About Accuplacer

The Accuplacer is used for placement at all Colorado community colleges for most degree and certificate programs. This placement test will determine your skill levels in reading comprehension, sentence skills (English) and mathematics.

The Accuplacer is an adaptive test and, thus, will tailor questions to your ability. In other words, the program will present questions based on how you answer the previous questions.

• Prior to taking the Accuplacer, you must have an application on file.
  
  
• On your test day, please bring your Student ID Number (you will not be allowed to test unless you have your Student ID Number). and a Photo ID
  
  
• Please note that calculators are not allowed on the Mathematics section of the Accuplacer.
  
  
• The Accuplacer is an untimed test. As a result, we encourage you to take your time and do the best you can.
