GED Information
The Assessment Center staff would like to commend you on
your decision to take the GED tests. Many individuals just
like you have taken the GED to obtain a better job or to
continue their education. According to the GED testing service,
the tests you will take assess "your knowledge and academic
skills against those of today's traditional high school graduates."
Preparation for the GED Tests is crucial if you wish to
receive passing scores. There are a number of ways you can
prepare for the GED:
- At our Downtown Center, we offer both a GED pre-test
and GED classes. To make an appointment for the pre-test
or classes, please call 970-339-6264.
- You can purchase an official GED Practice Test
from our Aims Bookstore.
- You can also find study material for the GED
tests at local bookstores and public libraries.
At your first test session, we will collect the $85.00 fee
for the GED test. Also, you must bring a valid driver’s
license or official government issued ID. You will then be
required to complete the paperwork before you can test. To
speed up the process, you can fill out the paperwork online
by going to http://ged123.org.
