Here’s how to calculate the estimated cost of your tuition and fees: Take the tuition rate and add the Student fee and the Technology fee, then multiply that amount times the number of credit hours you are taking. Then add the Administrative, Infrastructure fee and any course/lab fees to get your estimated cost.

	In-District What does In-District tuition mean? In-District tuition rate implies to those who reside in Weld County, except some outline areas, and have lived in the area for a certain length of time. Please contact Admissions and Records for further assistance.	Out-of- District What does Out of District tuition rate mean? Out of District tuition rate implies to those who reside in the State of Colorado, excluding those who qualify for In-District tuition rate, and have lived in the area for a certain length of time. Please contact Admissions and Records for further assistance.	WUE What does WUE tuition mean? Aims Community College participates in the Western Undergraduate Exchange Program (WUE) during this academic year. If you are eligible and approved for WUE tuition rates, you will pay reduced tuition rates equal to one and on-half times the normal out-of-district rates in place of the out-of-state rate. Administrative What is the Administrative Fee? This fee is charge at a flat rate per semester. Defrays costs broadly associated with admission, assessment, advising, career services, registration, graduation, and other administrative costs.	$25.00	Per semester
Infrastructure What is the Infrastructure Fee? This fee is charged as a flat fee per semester. Will defray costs broadly associated with maintenance, improvement of buildings, facilities and campus grounds. Effective starting Fall 2013 semester, this fee will be suspended and not charged to students upon registration.	$20.00	Per semester
Lab Course What is the Lab/Course Fee? Courses subject to an additional fee are noted in the class schedule. This fee is shown in the course details once you click on the CRN in the online class schedule. This fee defrays the cost of providing instructional supplies, materials, and facilities. Online Course What is the Online Course Fee? This fee is charged for each online course you registered for. Courses subject to an additional fee are noted in the class schedule. Technology What is the Technology Fee? This fee is charged per credit hour up to 15 credit hours. Helps to defray cost of instructional and administrative electronic equipment and software. Check Reissue What is the Check Reissue Fee? Based on current bank rates. This fee defrays the cost of reissuing lost or misplaced checks that were issued to the student. Fee assessed at time of reissue.	$10.00	Per check
Diploma What is the Diploma/Certificate Fee? No charge for the original issuance of the diploma. *$10.00 for each additional copy.	Free	Per diploma/certificate
Parking What is the Parking Fee? Parking in designated lots/spaces on campus is free, however a parking permit is required. Parking permits can be requested at the Student Life office located in the College Center, 1st floor.	Free	N/A
Parking Violation What is the Parking Violation Fee? *$15 for general violation, $100-$150 charge for handicap space violation. Contact Security for all questions.	$15 - $150	Per incident
Returned Check What is the Returned Check Fee? This fee defrays the administrative costs to process a returned check. Returned checks are processed by PFC Check Solutions who will assess an additional $20.00 plus all applicable cost of collection pursuant to 13-21-109.	$20.00	Per check

*In-District refers to the Aims Community College Tax District.
*In-District classification for tuition purposes is for students who have been Colorado residents for a minimum of one year (according to tuition classification law) and who live in the Aims tax district. The Aims tax district is most of Weld County, excluding the Mead, Dacono, Erie, Frederick and Firestone area.
