Fire Emergency Evacuation Procedures for: College CenterThe College Center is equipped with audible and visual fire alarms and has an automated sprinkler system. When the alarm is activated, either by false alarm, test, or actual fire, all building occupants must evacuate the building. The building is divided into the following areas: Associated Students, Continuing Education, Bookstore, Food Service, Classrooms, and Library. Designated personnel from each area will be responsible for insuring their area is evacuated. Individuals with a mobility impairment needing assistance should go to the NE corner as an area of safe haven or for rescue assistance. A telephone is located at the vestibule for assistance. Under no circumstance is any person allowed to reenter the building until the building has been declared safe for occupancy.
