Plan Ahead
- It is important to remember that accommodations take time to
implement, so planning ahead is essential.
- Submit your documentation to DAS in plenty of time for it to
be reviewed and an accommodation plan prepared early in the semester
that you wish to utilize academic accommodation.
- Students who are enrolled in classes on any of Aims Community
College campuses can receive academic accommodations at those
locations. Documentation of disability and a Request
for Accommodations Form (PDF) must be turned into the DAS
office on the Greeley campus where it is reviewed. An accommodation
plan is prepared with the student at their intake meeting. Copies
of the Accommodation Letters to Instructors can be picked
up by the student from Admissions & Records Window #1 or #2 in the College Center. An email will be sent to the student's Aims email account when letters are ready for pickup.
Students work with their faculty and Center staff to arrange
for on-site accommodations.
