National Corporation Foundations

Besides those scholarship sites linked above, many large national corporations and franchises have foundations that provide scholarships.  For example, check out brand names you are familiar with – specific fast food restaurants, sodas, big box stores, equipment, cars – to mention a few types. Chances are they will have scholarships through affiliated foundations.  Be sure to include the word ‘foundation’ or ‘scholarships’ in your search along with the corporate name. 

Local Businesses and Organizations

Your local religious organizations, schools, hospitals, clubs and organizations provide Aims students with scholarship opportunities.  Think about your own affiliations and then check to see if they offer scholarships.  Community Foundations are a great resource for students.  Libraries and other public places often provide scholarship information.  Keep your eyes open and devote some time to completing applications frequently.
