Financial Aid Basics - Work-Study Jobs Available

All available work-study positions are posted in Career Advance.

To view available jobs, complete the following steps.

Your first visit to Career Advance?  

You first need to register; it takes just a moment…

• Go to Aims website http://www.aims.edu
• Click on 'A Current Student?' (on the left side)
• Move your mouse over 'Services for Students' from the menu on the left side
• Click on 'Career Services' from the pop-up menu
• Move your mouse over 'Students' from the menu on the left side
• Click on 'Career Advance Login'
• Click on ‘Student Login’ (middle of page-in yellow)
• Click on ‘Register’ (bottom of page -in blue)
• Enter all the information
• Click on ‘Register’ at bottom
• Click on ‘Job Search’ option from the menu at the top of the page
• Click in ‘Organization Name’ field
• Type ‘Financial Aid Office’ (without quotes)in the organization name field
• Click on ‘Search’
• All available work-study jobs will be displayed for you to view

Already registered for Career Advance?

• Go to Aims website http://www.aims.edu
• Click on 'A Current Student?' (on the left side)
• Move your mouse over 'Services for Students' from the menu on the left side
• Click on 'Career Services' from the pop-up menu
• Move your mouse over 'Students' from the menu on the left side
• Click on 'Career Advance Login'
• Click on ‘Student Login’ (middle of page-in yellow)
• Click on ‘Job Search’ option from the menu at the top of the page
• Click in ‘Organization Name’ field
• Type ‘Financial Aid Office’ (without the quotes) in the Organization Name field
• Click on ‘Search’
• All available work-study jobs will be displayed for you to view
