to the Class Schedule Help Page
Once you have the results of your search, finding the class
you are looking for is simple. In this example, we searched
for all Psychology (PSY) courses. You can roll over any part
of this page to see a description of what each of these areas
means. The most important thing is to click on the CRN (Course
Reference Number) to get details about this class that could
include prerequisites, details about the class and other important
information. As an example, view
the detailed description of the first course listed first,
PSY 100.
Roll your mouse over an item below for more information on
that search feature.
- Department Contact:This is the location (in this case Westview 690)
and phone number for the head of the department. This area will also include a brief description of the department
and may outline specific orientation or other needs students must fulfill before taking these classes.
- Course Name: Here you will get a description of the subject
areas covered by this course.
- Status: OPEN means you can register for this class. CLOSED means the class is
either reached its capacity or it is too far along in the semester to sign up for it. STARTED means the class has
begun already and you may still be able to sign up for it. CLASS ENDED means the class has finished its session.
- Crn:
Course Reference Number. This is the specific number for this class and its meeting time. You should click on this for each
class you are interested in to see more detailed information. Make a note of the
CRNs for the classes you want to make the registration process easier.
- Sect.:
Section number: G=Greeley, D=Downtown Center, F= Fort Lupton, L=Loveland, W= Automotive & Tech Center in Windsor.
- Cred. Credit value for the course. If the value is zero (0), course is
self-supporting and special fee will be indicated in the details of the CRN.
- Meeting Time: Days of the week and time the class meets (may list multiple
meeting days). Letters used to indicate days are: M=Monday, T=Tuesday, W=Wednesday, R=Thursday, F=Friday, S=Saturday,
U=Sunday. (For instance: “TR” means the class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays. “ARR” means the meeting time will be
arranged at a later time or between the student and the instructor. No meeting times are listed for online-only classes.
- Location:
Just like it sounds. This is where the class is located. If it says “Distance Learning,” that means it is an online course.
- Cap:
The maximum number of students allowed in the class.
- Act:
The number of students who have signed up for the class so far.
- Rem:
How many seats are still available in the class.
- Instructor:
Instructor assignments to specific classes are subject to change. “Staff”
indicates that an instructor has not been selected at that time.
- Date:
Dates the class starts and ends (may list multiple meeting dates).
