The STAR program is committed to helping you during the course of your academic journey at Aims.

Retention Advisors are available to help you with:

• Understanding and adjusting to the demands of college
• Balancing college course load with work and family
• Referral to helpful campus resources such as career services and academic resource center.
• Workshops on study skills and how to be a successful college student
• Learning how to prepare for tests and exams, managing your time, understanding your learning styles
• Assistance with registration for upcoming semesters
