The STAR program has teamed with Student Support Services (SSS)
and Student Life to offer a series of free workshops for students.
These include:
- How to be a successful college student
- Seven Habits of Highly Effective College Students
- Know your learning style
- “I” Focus workshop series:
- Critical Reading Strategies
- Note-taking strategies
- Test Anxiety
- How to choose a major
- Credit –vs- Debt
- Scholarship workshops
And many others….
All workshops are posted around the college and listed on the “Student
Life” tab in Web Services. All workshops are free to attend.
