Withdrawing from Aims

Academic Withdraw Checklist

Choosing to withdraw from a class or classes may have an impact on your ability to continue pursuing your college education. In order to make sure you are making an informed choice please follow these steps to complete the process to withdraw from one class or multiple classes:

  1. Before withdrawing from classes, please meet with your academic advisor. If you are unable to arrange an appointment with your academic advisor, please call the Student Success Center at any campus to make an appointment with an advisor. The Student Success Centers will also try to accommodate students on a walk-in basis.
  2. If you are receiving any type of financial aid assistance please meet with the financial aid office prior to withdrawing from classes to understand how this will affect future financial aid eligibility.
  3. Please meet with the cashier’s office to know how much money you will be expected to pay before you can resume your college education.
  4. Please complete the Exit Information form.
  5. Withdraw from your classes.
