The Student Peer Educator for Diversity Programs is responsible for the administration and implementation of activities that meet the cultural needs of the students. The focus of this position is in recognizing and celebrating the diverse community of learners at Aims. Programmatic responsibilities include: coordinating at least one cultural or diversity program per month (i.e. Black History, Women’s History, Cinco de Mayo, Native American Awareness, International Celebration, etc.) and other events such as the Community Holocaust Memorial Observance and the Human2Human diversity series. This position will serve on various ASACC/diversity-related campus committees.
