Aims Student United Way will provide you with leadership and volunteering opportunities to gain valuable experience. In addition, the club promotes the philosophy of giving and connects students with their community.

Aims Student United Way was established in 2010, and was the FIRST Student United Way established in Colorado! (tied with UNC, actually) The club does monthly service projects in our community. Some examples of projects we’ve done in the past are:
-Weld Project Connect: assisting at this annual event that provides on-site services to individuals and families that are struggling
-ElderGarden: having lunch and playing games with the seniors at this adult day care center
-Santa Cops: wrapping gifts
-Weld Food Bank: organizing food donations
-United Way of Weld County’s Grand Old Auction: helping at this special event that raises funds for Promises for Children

About United Way of Weld County:

United Way of Weld County recruits people and organizations who bring the passion, expertise and resources we need to get things done. We invite you to be a part of the change. You can give, you can advocate and you can volunteer. That’s what it means to LIVE UNITED.
