Grant Guidelines - Financial Assistance

Process to Receive Grant Award

The following process will be used to award financial assistance:

All students in the Student Support Services Program who meet the eligibility requirements for the grant will be considered for grant aid.

• Once grades are posted for spring semester, Student Support Services staff will verify student has met outlined eligibility requirements. Grades will be checked each term student is enrolled in order to verify eligibility for award.
  
  
• Once eligibility requirements are met, awards will be given to the top students achieving the highest cumulative grade point average.
  
  
• Qualified student will receive notification by mail, prior to the start of the semester.
  
  
• Checks will be awarded to student within first two weeks of the semester.  Please note: based on guidelines established to receive Financial Aid, if student has less unmet need for financial aid than the grant aid award amount, financial aid will be adjusted accordingly.
