Process to Receive Grant Award

The following process will be used to award financial assistance:

Once grades are posted for spring semester, Student Support Services staff will verify student has met outlined eligibility requirements. Grades will be checked each term student is enrolled in order to verify eligibility for award.

• Grant funds are available for the beginning of fall and spring semester for eligible students. Depending on funding summer awards may also be available.
  
  
• Once grades are posted for each semester, Student Support Services staff will verify student has met outlined eligibility requirements. Grades will be checked each term student is enrolled in order to verify eligibility for award.
  
  
• Students receiving grant aid will be notified prior to the start of the semester.
  
  
• Every effort will be made to award checks to the student within the first two weeks of the semester.
  
  
• Based on federal guidelines established to receive financial aid, if a student has less remaining unmet need for financial aid than the amount of the grant, financial aid will be adjusted accordingly
