Grant Guidelines
- Eligibility Requirements
Grant Aid Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible to receive grant aid, students participating
in the Student Support Services Program must meet the following
requirements:
- Have a cumulative grade point average of 2.4.
- Have a semester grade point average of 2.4.
- Completed a minimum of 12 credits. Classes completed must be
those required to complete Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, Associate
of Applied Science or Certificate Program. Classes
below 100 level in ENG, REA, and MATH will be counted towards
12 credits.
- Must be enrolled and attend classes at Aims
during the semester in which grant is awarded.
- Must be eligible for Pell Grant as deemed by
federal guidelines.
- Must attend a minimum of two advising sessions
per semester with assigned academic advisor.
- Must complete a minimum of two of the following: AAA 101; Seven Habits of Highly Effective College Students workshop; I-Focus or SSS workshops; learning community; mentoring; or tutoring.
- Priority will be given to students in their
first two years of college.
