Grant Guidelines
Overview
Grant funds awarded from the Department of Education for the Student
Support Services Program are designated for financial assistance
to qualified students participating in the program. The amount
of grant aid awarded is based on the minimum Pell grant award.
For example in 2009/2010 the minimum Pell grant award was $976.
The amount of grant aid the student will receive is based on enrollment
status (full, 3/4, or 1/2 time).
Approximately 20 students will
receive grant aid each year. Students will receive half their grant
aid in fall and the second half in spring. Grant aid will be available
to students by check within the first two weeks of the semester.
