What to do if you want a Mentor:
Students wanting to have a mentor need to request a mentor one
semester in advance and fill out a mentor request form (available
at the student support services office). Mentors and Mentees must
go through a mandatory training that will occur at the beginning
of each semester for the current group of students who want mentors.
Requirements:
Mentees and mentors are required to meet for approximately 5 hours
a month. During the training you will get to know your mentor and
learn how to interact with a mentor in order to make your relationship
a productive one. You can have a mentor for up to two semesters
and for as little as one. However, you must commit to seeing your
mentor for one semester.
