What to do when
you need help with a class
Drop-in
Tutoring:
Aims Community College and Student Support Services provide several ways to receive academic assistance. Students needing help with a class should start with a visit to their instructor. Supplemental Instruction and small study groups are available for many classes.
Drop-in tutoring is available in the Learning Commons and in the Student Support Services Office. Student Support Services students have access to tutoring at both locations. Student Support Services’ advisors can assist students to find the best combination of resources to achieve academic success.
Drop-in tutoring schedules are available in the Student Support Services office located in College Center room 220 on the Greeley campus.
One-on-One Tutoring:
Students requesting one-on-one tutoring should talk to their academic
advisor, or call the Student Support Services tutor coordinator
at 970-339-6383.
In the mean time, students must continue
attending class. Students should consider utilizing drop-in tutoring
or forming study groups while waiting for a tutor to be assigned.
