Effective 2014-2015, students applying to Aims Community College who need to assess for enrollment purposes are required to take the Accuplacer exam as dictated by the statewide Remedial Education Policy. The reading, sentence skills and math sections of the Accuplacer exam can be taken one time at no cost.
Retests of any or all of the sections will result in a $5 fee per section. The first retest of any section can occur 24 hours after the initial testing. Any additional retest attempts of any section will require a three-month wait period unless you provide proof of successfully completing a college-sponsored remediation program.
The Accuplacer may be taken five times in a two-year period. Scores are good for three years from the last date of testing.
