The Writing Center assists students in a variety of ways. Students
enrolled in content courses as well as English courses are encouraged
to utilize the Writing Center if they need help brainstorming,
determining a thesis, writing an essay/paper outline, reviewing
an essay/paper to identify troublesome writing style and grammatical
patterns, and meeting with peer groups outside of class. Drop-in
assistance also includes help with the following:
- thesis and essay/paper construction
- database Research
- reference page/works cited/bibliography
- english and reading class assignments
- resumes
- scholarship essays
- study techniques and strategies

Math & Science Center

The Math and Science Center is designed for students who need
assistance in the math and science disciplines outside of the
classroom. This Drop-In Center serves students at every level
of math proficiency. Additionally, students enrolled in Science
courses are encouraged to come and work with peer groups outside
of class, study for tests, and work on homework. Tutors can
help students become successful by assisting with the following:
- review of course concepts
- answering questions about homework or assignments
- guidance on study strategies
- assisting with test preparation

Accounting Center

The Accounting center assists students who need assistance outside
of the classroom with Accounting. Accounting students are encouraged
to use this center for homework and test preparation, group work,
and also to access Accounting program specific software. Tutors
can helps student become successful by assisting with the following:
