The Office of Institutional Research and Assessment (IR&A) is a resource for continuous
- Assessment - collaborates, guides, and provides resources for intentional assessment practices
to encourage a college-wide culture of evidence. The primary goal is to strengthen
the quality of Aims' programs, services, operations, and processes, ultimately enhancing
student learning, development, and success.
- Institutional Research - works collaboratively with all members of the college community in collecting,
analyzing and distributing data and information to support institutional management,
operations, decision-making, planning and external reporting functions. The office
assists with the systematic evaluation of all areas of the college in order to identify
the strengths and weaknesses of the institution.
The IR&A team works together to support the data needs to meet Aims Community College
Core Measures. These Core Measures are part of the Aims Strategic Planning goals.
