This degree is designed to provide students with a seamless transfer into one of several four-year institutions in Colorado in order to earn a Bachelor’s degree. The program includes Kindergarten-Grade 3 Teacher Licensure. This program is designed to prepare students for positions in private preschools, small and large child care centers, child development centers, Head Start programs, before and after school programs, summer day camps, infant nurseries, inclusive child care centers, and family child care homes. Work experience for most positions is required.
This degree is designed to provide training for a career involving the care and education of young children from birth through age eight. This program continues the academic requirements for the assistant director and director position as described in the ECE Certificate Program. Our faculty can facilitate your learning experience for specialized practicum courses for Infant/Toddler Care and/or Children with Special Needs. The faculty have the knowledge and passion needed to help students grow. They are dedicated to student success. Work experience for most positions is required.
The Associate of Arts degree in Elementary Education is designed for students interested in becoming an elementary school teacher. Teaching is a challenging and rewarding career choice. The State Articulation agreement allows students, upon completion of an A.A degree, to transfer to any four-year college in Colorado that offers an elementary education teacher preparation program.
