After passing the state recognized exams, you can now be hired as an EMT, but there are options to advance your career through further education, such as:

Requirement: Students must be a current Colorado Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and have a valid BLS Provider certification to register for this class.

How do I sign up?
Students are required to meet with a EMS faculty advisor to get approval to register for class (EMS 132).

EMT Refresher is designed to meet recertification requirements for the State of Colorado and/or NREMT.
Classes are offered each fall and spring semester in a hybrid format that includes online learning and 22 hours of face-to-face lab.
EMT-Refresher (EMS 126) provides the necessary Continuing Education (CE credits) hours to meet time and content requirements for both state of Colorado and/or NREMT recertification
Course enrollment includes optional NREMT Psychomotor exam administered at the end of the class.
Requirement: Students must have a valid BLS Provider certification to register for this class.
