Careers in Emergency Medical Services can be very satisfying. As an EMS provider, you will get the opportunity to help people in need. Our programs will prepare you to care for individuals who are in need of immediate treatment by stabilizing them and helping transport them for additional care.
We have all the classes and tools you need to start an exciting new career right here at the Public Safety Institute. We offer classes that use state-of-the-art simulation training from Emergency Medical Responder, up through Paramedic level training. We have something for everyone to advance your career in EMS.
a one-semester, 12-credit program comprised of classroom, lab and clinical components that will prepare you to pass the NREMT
a 13-credit program that includes online, face-to-face lecture/lab sessions and a clinical internship that will prepare you to pass the NRAEMT
a 51-credit program that including clinical internship that will prepare you to pass the NREMT and the State Paramedic Certification as well as transfer to a BAS program
Upon successful completion of our program, you could start a career as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic.

BLS for Healthcare Providers is a one-day, 4-hour course that trains and certifies healthcare providers in CPR. Classes are held often throughout the year.
