Tips for preparing prior to Video/Audio Chat Sessions (synchronous classes)
During the session
Use regular text documents as they use less bandwidth than a PDF, using Google Slides will use less data than uploading or downloaded PowerPoint Presentations. Recorded videos and audio use less data than streaming a web chat or video.
Limit use of streaming services, especially while working on homework. If you are scheduled for a web meeting ie: Zoom, Meet, Skype ensure no streaming is taking place at the same time. Try your connection prior to the scheduled meeting.
Videos and recordings take time to render and upload; current internet traffic has significantly increased the amount of time it takes to upload large files.
