Dear Aims Family,
This whirlwind of a year has definitely given credence to the saying “change is the only constant.” As I’ve said before, thank you for your flexibility as we navigate the ever-changing nature of this pandemic.
With COVID-19 cases on the rise around Colorado and the nation, I’m writing to let you know how Aims is responding to the current situation.
The gist is this: we’ll be making some tweaks to limit the amount of people coming into contact with one another on our campuses for the rest of the calendar year. Aims will remain open and fully operational; we’ll just be pivoting to more remote operations where we can.
Before going into the details, I want to highlight the reasoning behind this approach. Our goal is to keep students moving forward in their classes — it’s the central reason we are all here. However, in times like this we have to strike a balance to do what’s best for our students and what’s best for the health and safety of everyone.
With that being said, beginning Monday, November 16 Aims will shift operations in the following ways:
If you have questions about any of the above, please reach out to your supervisor, Executive/Vice President, or Human Resources. We’re all navigating this together, and I’m proud of all we have accomplished along the way. We’re in the home stretch of this semester — keep up the great work and keep taking care of each other!
Sincerely,
Dr. Leah L. Bornstein
