Aims implemented the Academic Standards Policy at the beginning of Fall Semester 2005 to ensure that degree and certificate seeking students maintain satisfactory academic progress.
Academic probation is an alert system for students whose cumulative GPA falls below 2.0. A hold is placed on your registration status and you must meet with your academic advisor and complete the First Term Academic Probation Survey.
You can view your advisor under your myAims student account, by selecting 'Advising' and 'View my advisor and degree.' If you have any questions, please call the advising office at (970) 339-6443.
