The Peer Coaching program is dedicated to creating and sustaining a learning environment that supports a successful academic and social transition of all students into the Aims community. Peer coaches will promote a proactive approach to students' engagement in campus life as they adjust to college through support, information, and guidance.
Peer coaches have successfully navigated Aims classes, resources and policies and have a strong commitment to seeing their fellow peers succeed in their personal, professional and educational goals. Peer coaches provide 1-1 social and emotional support, connect students to on and off-campus resources and academic coaching (time-management, test-taking and study skills, support for AimsOnline and other technology).
Peer coaching will be available for Spring beginning January 22 - May 9, 2019 in the
tutoring areas of the Greeley Learning Commons.
