The peer coaching program is dedicated to creating and sustaining a learning environment that supports a successful academic and social transition of all students into the Aims community. Peer coaches will promote a proactive approach to students' engagement in campus life as they adjust to college through support, information, and guidance.
Why use a peer coach?
Peer coaches have successfully navigated Aims classes, resources, and policies and have a strong commitment to seeing their fellow peers succeed in their personal, professional, and educational goals. Peer coaches provide 1-1 social and emotional support, connect students to on and off-campus resources, and academic coaching (time-management, test-taking and study skills, support for AimsOnline and other technology).
Peer coaches are available in the Greeley Learning Commons during the below times this spring from January 16 - May 4, 2018.
|Day of Week||Hours open|
|Monday||10 a.m. - 2 p.m.|
|Tuesday||10 a.m. - 2 p.m.|
|Wednesday||10 a.m. - 2 p.m.|
|Thursday||10 a.m. - 2 p.m.|
They will also be available at varying times and locations across the Greeley campus throughout the week. Look for them in their blue shirts!
