Aims Community College to Host Fall Semester Commencement Ceremonies

Aims Community College will celebrate graduating students on December 9 at 5 p.m. in the Aims Welcome Center, 4901 West 20th St. in Greeley. This is the first fall commencement celebration for Aims Community College students in many years.

Previously a spring commencement ceremony took place for all students graduating within that academic year. Students graduating from Aims’ Public Safety Institute programs will also be honored with ceremonies in December at the Windsor Campus.

Below are a few facts about Aims Fall 2022 graduates:  

  • 115  students will take part in the official ceremonies 
  • Graduates range in age from 16 to 71
  • 458  students graduated or are potentially graduating 
  • 675 credentials are being awarded or potentially awarded (students may get multiple credentials) 
  • The following are to be awarded:  
    • 78 Associate of Arts Degrees 
    • 11 Associate of Science Degrees 
    • 4 Associate of General Studies Degrees 
    • 65 Associate of Applied Science Degrees 
    • 517 Certificates

“I’m extremely proud of our amazing Aims students. It’s an honor that Aims is part of their educational journey.” Said Dr. Leah L. Bornstein, Aims Community College CEO and president. “Our graduates go out in the world and achieve great things, and I’m confident that this group of grads will continue this tradition.” 

Commencement Event Information

Seating for the live ceremony is limited. Overflow seating is available in the Welcome Center Ballroom. When attending in person, please note the following: 

  • no food 
  • clear bags only 
  • clear water bottles only 

Livestreaming of the main ceremony is available for those who cannot attend in person.

  • Paramedic Graduation | December 3 | 11 a.m. | Public Safety Institute | Windsor Campus
  • Police Academy Graduation | December 9 | 3 p.m. | Public Safety Institute | Windsor Campus
  • Fire Academy Graduation | December 10| 11 a.m. | Public Safety Institute | Windsor Campus
