Continuing (Multi-Term) Probation

Continuing probation occurs when a certificate or degree-seeking student’s cumulative GPA falls below a 2.0 for consecutive terms. The cumulative GPA is computed using all classes numbered 100 level or above. A student may stay on continuing probation status indefinitely if the cumulative GPA remains below 2.0 but the term GPA each semester remains at 2.0 or better. Students on continuing probation are required to meet with an advisor to register for classes after completing a Probation Recovery Plan.
