Preparing for your future career begins the first day you enter college! We're here to help you get started.
Employers are looking to hire college students and recent graduates who know how to articulate and use their natural talents, strengths, skills and interests - otherwise known as being Career Ready.
Being Career Ready starts with developing the following skills while at Aims Community College:
Learning and developing these skills happen in the classroom, participating in student activities, joining student organizations, engaging campus services, volunteering, working on campus and much more!
Career coaches are available to assist you with developing your career management skills. We will help you identify (career-related assessments) and articulate (resume, cover letters, interviewing) your strengths and skills.
We are also here to help you navigate career options (career exploration) and pursue these opportunities (career fairs, online job board).
