- Abra Cadabra (AM/PM)
Welcome to world of Magic. In this introductory course in magic, you will learn the
art of performing as a magician. You'll learn basic types of magic, magical possibilities,
sleights, effects, and routines in order to be equipped to build and perform your
very own magic show! Sign up today!
- Active Aardvarks (AM/PM)
Junior Aardvarks, get moving! Come see the excellent Physical Education and Recreational
Center (PERC) at Aims, and learn fun and amazing ways to stay fit and healthy. You
will be on the move each day trying different activities such as soccer, basketball,
volleyball, tennis, Ultimate Frisbee, yoga, fitness, leadership, teamwork, and nutrition
- Art Exploration (AM/PM)
Come and get your creative juices flowing in this unique art class where we’ll be
using several different mediums throughout the week. Some of the will include Clay
sculpting, Printmaking, Paper Mache letters, Pour Painting, Tye-Dye and more. You
will even get to take home all of your art at the end of the week, after our art show!
- Charizards Japanese Adventures (AM/PM)
Japanese is like a coding! Within a week, you will be able to decode Pokémon cards
in Japanese! Join us an learn Japanese language and culture through action-related
talk and play-based activities. You will be able exchange greetings, sing songs, introduce
yourselves, and respond to simple instructions in Japanese by the end of the week.
There will also be fun activities such as origami, chopstick games, and candy sushi

Do you love technology, games, and having fun with friends? Learn to code through
our engaging game-based curriculum that teaches teamwork, logic, math, and problem
solving. You’ll gain vital coding skills while having a blast.

- Color Lab (AM/PM)
As young artists, you will have the opportunity to explore, discover and create using
painting, mixed media and lots of colors! You will be exposed to different techniques,
color theory and endless creativity with new and exciting experiences in the world
- CrossFit and Nutrition (AM/PM)
Are you competitive? This new online hybrid class will challenge you physically and show you how to be smart about
food. We will put your skills to the test by actively participating in an assortment
of CrossFit WODs (workout of the day) and movements. Together we will have fun setting
realistic personal goals and explore how our bodies function on the healthy nutrition
choices we make to get the most out of our bodies.
- Hawaiian Island Creations (AM/PM)
Come and explore how Hawaii was formed and the history of the Hawaiian Islands. We
will be making and erupting volcanoes. We will learn about different Hawaiian cultures
and traditions and explore island life, games, current events and food while learning
the about the Hawaiian Language that is still being practiced.
- Pen to Paper MAGIC! (AM/PM)
Whether it be a story, a song, or a stage play, put your creativity and imagination
on paper. You will spend time planning and perfecting your creative project (or projects)
and learn methods that can turn your ideas into works of art. Bring your sense of
originality and expression to create works of art written by you!
- Junior Shark Tank (AM/PM)
Calling all future entrepreneurs! Ever thought you had an idea for the next big thing?
Ever wanted to start your own business and be your own boss? Junior Shark Tank is
for you! This camp will show you how to generate a business idea, or improve the one
you already have, find out more about other businesses doing something similar, create
an initial prototype, and prepare and present a professional business pitch, just
like Shark Tank! On the last day of class, young business owners will pitch their
businesses to a panel of judges, competing for the grand prize of $100!
- Safe Sitter (AM/PM)
This is a comprehensive, physician-developed babysitting course that will teach safety
skills, first aid and rescue skills, care of a choking infant & child, infant & child
CPR, life and business skills- including babysitting as a business & success on the
job, child care essentials and more! It’s designed to equip students to feel confident
& be safe when their home alone, watching younger siblings or babysitting. Curriculum
is geared for students ages 10-14. Students receive a certification card from SafeSitter,
- Snappy Photography (AM/PM)
Have you ever caught yourself taking pictures wherever you go? Taking selfies with
your friends? Noticing that beauty is everywhere? Well then, Snappy Photography is
for you. In this class, you will sharpen your existing skills, learn some fun, new
techniques, and develop an eye for every-day beauty under the supervision of a professional
photographer! We will be taking pictures, editing, and then assembling them into photo
albums so that you will have your very own portfolio and keepsake from this class.
Camera's of some form are required. Camera phones will work for this class.
- Take the Stage (AM/PM)
Experience the magic of theater! Explore the craft of theater, including voice, movement,
makeup, and costumes. Build your public speaking, acting and communication skills.
Then put it all together on the stage in a short play!
- Spanish Cultural Fiesta (AM/PM)
Come celebrate Spanish culture by learning about Spanish dance, food, heritage, basic
vocabulary and conversational skills along with making your own pinata and getting
to fill it with CANDY!!!
It’s sure to be a week-long Fiesta!!!
- Unseen Worlds Outside Your Door (AM/PM)
This world has more life forms than you can possibly imagine. Come and open your eyes
to the worlds right outside your door. Learn about the amazing wildlife we have in
the area and why they’re important to us as well as what came before us as we take
field trips to identify different species and doing fun experiments on different natural
- Wilderness Survival 101 (AM/PM)
Our ancient ancestors were master bushcrafters. Living in Colorado we have access
to 3.5 million acres of federally protected wilderness. Many of us have spent time
camping and hiking throughout Colorado but how many of us could survive in this wilderness
if we became lost or stranded? Wilderness Survival 101 teaches skills and strategies
for dealing with unexpected and adverse circumstances. We will cover topics including:
first aid, water sourcing and purification, navigation using a map and compass, fire
craft, rope and knot skills, cooking methods, shelter building, 72-hour bags, clothing
choices, food sources and the gear and tools necessary to survive in the wilderness.
