Education in Allied Health and Human Services encompasses various medical skills in one of several categories:
Nurse Aide field is intended for the individual desiring to be a nurse aide focusing on care for adult or disabled patient/client/resident living at home or in a health care facility.
Associate Degree Nurse is designed to prepare individuals licensed to practice as a registered nurse. This allows the individual to work in any healthcare setting.
Surgical Technology teaches the skills needed for an individual to enter the dynamic operating room setting and become an integral member of the surgical team.
Radiologic Technologist is dedicated to the conservation of life and health and the discovery of existing disease.
Health Information Technology. If you have experience or background in either Health or Information Technology (IT), then you can build on that experience for the growing demand for professionals to implement, manage, and use Electronic Medical Records.
