Professional Background
Emily (Emmy) Royse started teaching at Aims in 2022. She primarily teaches anatomy and physiology (A&P) and introductory biology. As a biology education researcher, she has conducted research about transformative learning, science identity, and teaching practices in A&P courses. She is passionate about curriculum design and assessment, and uses problem-based learning in the courses she teaches.
Personal Interests
Outside of time spent teaching and thinking about teaching, Emmy experiments with homemade ice cream and designs board games.
