Tutoring Services
Tutoring supports you in subjects including math, writing, science and other areas depending upon tutor availability.
Academic Support
Academic Coaching helps you with time management, organization and study strategies.
Our academic support staff are committed to partnering with you to help you learn and succeed at Aims. Working with tutors and academic coaches can provide you with personalized attention, practice and confidence.
The Academic Support & Tutoring Department is based at the Greeley Campus Learning Commons in Student Commons Room 201.
All of our services are free to Aims students, including:
- Summer Open Hours Drop-in Tutoring in math on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., in writing on Tuesday and Thursday 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., and in academic coaching on Tuesday and Thursday 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
- Course-Based Tutoring Appointments - see our guide for how to schedule an appointment
- Academic Coaching (help with time management, organization, and study strategies)
- Arty’s Study Hours (formerly Arty’s Power Hour)
- Writing Drop Box & Online Writing Lab
- Academic Success Workshops - offered on various student success topics throughout the term
- StudentLingo Videos - View on-demand, 24/7 student success videos from StudentLingo in your MyApps dashboard, including videos on how to use AI ethically and effectively

How to schedule tutoring or academic coaching services
1. Go to your MyApps dashboard.
2. Click on “Accudemia.”
3. Click on “Schedule Appointment” to set up a 30 or 60 minute session for academic coaching or for the subject you want tutoring.
You can also access Accudemia from the Tutoring dropdown menu in D2L to schedule appointments.
