Professional Background

Erica brings over 20 years of experience in mental health, crisis intervention, and well-being to her work at Aims Community College. She began her career developing and overseeing mental health programs in secure residential settings within the youth correctional system, focusing on suicide prevention, trauma-informed care, wellness, and inclusive practices for LGBTQIA+ youth.
Since joining Aims in 2019, Erica has been committed to fostering a culture of well-being. She values student-centered support and believes in creating spaces where people feel safe, supported, and empowered. Guided by a strengths-based philosophy, Erica is passionate about helping others recognize their potential and build resilience. She sees connection as one of the most powerful tools we have for well-being and is passionate about building genuine relationships where every student feels seen, heard, and included.

Personal Interests

Outside of work, Erica finds joy in adventure and meaningful relationships. She enjoys hiking scenic trails, dancing with abandon, and traveling with her family. She finds meaning in connection and approaches life with curiosity, a sense of humor, and a deep commitment to supporting others.
