College For Kids
College for Kids (C4K) is a summer program at Aims Community College in Northern Colorado that provides a unique, educational and fun experience for students ages 9 to 15, by providing an opportunity to "go to college." The program also offers a novel opportunity for all participating 13 to 15-year-old students to gain leadership skills as junior assistants within their chosen classes.
Students participate in classes of their choice and engage in a variety of topics. Program offerings are intended to introduce kids to possible careers and start getting them to think about what opportunities they may want to pursue in the future. All classes are designed to be fun, captivating and hands-on.
Each campus location (Loveland, Windsor, Fort Lupton, and Greeley) hosts one four day session throughout the month of June.
Loveland: June 6-9
Windsor: June 13-16
Fort Lupton: June 20-23
Greeley: June 27-30
Registration for College for Kids 2022 will open March 28 and run until May 16. Registration for all campuses will be available through the online portal here. There you will see descriptions of the upcoming sessions as well as registration instructions.
Each day, students will attend two classes of their choosing, two snacks and lunch will be provided as well as promotional items and all of their supplies. A wide variety of College for Kids summer classes are available to cater to students’ unique interests.
