Transfer Programs

Whether you're transferring from Aims to a four-year university or from another school to one of our campuses, our goal is to help you make the most of your earned credits. Check out the variety of transfer programs and services available at Aims.

Types of Transfer Programs

If you plan to pursue a bachelor's degree after graduating from Aims, it's a simple process to transfer to a four-year institution. We have agreements with several Colorado colleges and universities where all of your credits are guaranteed to transfer.

You can also transfer from UNC or CSU to Aims through our cooperative programs. This allows you to earn credits while immersing yourself in the communities of both campuses.

Transferring to Aims

  • Must enroll in a course not offered that term at University of Northern Colorado (UNC).
  • Can enroll in one class of up to five semester credits at Aims during a corresponding term without paying tuition at Aims.
  • Must pay lab or other course fees, including the online course fee.
  • Does not pay the student fees, technology fees, administrative fee or infrastructure fee.

Follow regular admission and enrollment steps:

  • Application for admission must be filled out and submitted.
  • Sign the Cooperative Agreement Form at the Cashier’s Office on the same day as registration.
  • The UNC Cooperative Agreement Form can be printed, completed and submitted at time of registration. Scanned completed forms are accepted by email to cashier@aims.edu (make sure the form is signed; non-completed forms will not be accepted).

At the end of the term, students found to be ineligible for a free class will be billed and must pay tuition charges to the host school.
