Aims Community College will host an array of events designed to cultivate shared experiences and deliver first hand exposure to programs and campuses. WHAT:  Tuesday Tours
Attendees have the opportunity to tour Aims Community College with an admissions advisor. There will also be an information session regarding the admissions process after the tour.

WHEN and WHERE: All sessions are 4:30-6 p.m.

WHAT:  Get Started Sessions
Get set to attend Aims by attending an Get Started session online to learn about Aims’ 200+ degree and certificate options. Topics include:  tuition costs, scholarships, financial aid, student demographics and how easy it is to get started at Aims. Admissions Counselors will be able to answer questions and help prospective students understand how to become an enrolled Aims student.

WHAT:  College 101
Prospective students, parents, families and anyone who would like to learn more about going to college are invited to attend Aims Community College’s College 101 presentation. ABOUT: In this presentation, attendees will hear about Aims Community College’s degree and certificate programs, and the differences between four-year universities, community colleges and private colleges. An overview of transfer credit and accreditation may also be explored. Attendees will learn about the Aims Admissions process. Topics will include assessment requirements, college and program orientations, college acronyms and vocabulary. College costs/debt, scholarships, and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will be discussed.
