The event will be a celebration of past, present and future success at Aims with a Día De Los Muertos theme. Guests are encouraged to gather with friends and share stories of Aims past, as well as their vision for the next 50 years. They will be treated to a candy apple bar, where they can create their own dessert with different toppings. Marshmallows can be decorated to create sugar skull pops, and there will be masks to decorate to go along with the Día De Los Muertos theme.

“We are excited to reveal what items will be sealed in the time capsule, and I can only wonder what our students and community will think when they unveil it 50 years from now,” said Aims President, Dr. Leah L. Bornstein. “The entire community is invited to partake in this 50th anniversary activity, and I encourage everyone to take a tour of our brand new state-of-the-art Applied Technology and Trades Center during these festivities.
