Professional Background

Tammy Molinar-LeBlanc served as the PI/Director for The College Assistance Migrant Program, a CU Boulder grant project from 2001 until 2017. BUENO-CAMP is housed at the Aims Ft. Lupton campus. For over twenty-five years, she has primarily taught and served first-generation college students from migrant and seasonal farm working backgrounds. Working with students of diverse identities and marginalized identities such as low-income, LGBTQIA+, immigrant status and ethnically diverse racial backgrounds is her passion. She has taught various courses at the community college level, including Advanced Academic Achievement (AAA) as well as undergraduate and graduate-level courses in Ethnic Studies, Chicanx Studies, bilingual and ESL education. Her main areas of expertise are in the fields of Ethnic and Chicanx Studies. She has worked as an instructor teaching Introduction to Ethnic Studies (ETH 200) and Introduction to Chicano Studies (ETH 224) each semester since 2006 for Aims Community College and recently began teaching Intro to Ethnic Studies at Front Range Community College as well. 

Personal Interests

Tammy lives with her husband, daughter and three dogs in Broomfield. CO. She is an avid CU BUFFS fan and coordinates a tailgate club for the BUENO Center and School of Education at CU Boulder. She loves to go ‘glamping’, reading, watching movies, going to the theatre, gardening, traveling and is an amazing cook.
