The Clear Bag Policy for Events at Aims

Know before you go

A clear bag policy may be in effect for events at Aims.

  • For events hosted by Aims: Check the event posting on our events calendar.
  • For events hosted by third parties: Check the third-party website to see if a clear bag policy applies.

Aims Community College values providing a safe environment for our students, employees and guests. To ensure efficient entry into facilities, Aims implements a policy limiting the types and dimensions of bags permitted into event venues.

Exclusions to this policy will be made for medically necessary items after a thorough inspection. If you need to request accommodations due to a disability, please contact Disability Access Services (DAS) at (970) 339-6565.

Please make sure your bag meets our clear bag policy guidelines, which are listed below. If a bag does not meet these guidelines, Aims Campus Safety and Security will ask you to return it to your vehicle. You cannot leave your personal belongings at the doors or with staff.

To expedite entry into events, all guests are encouraged to not bring bags of any type.
