Develop and Retain Your Current Workforce

  • Adult Education / GED

    Programs to support students' preparation and completion of high school equivalency exams (GED) and college readiness services. Available in English and Spanish.

  • Continuing Education / Personal Enrichment

    Aims provides a variety of non-credit programming for community members and business partners in the areas of professional development and personal enrichment.

    Non-credit courses aimed at community members and business partners in the areas of Professional Development - classes to assist with employee retention and growth, Personal Enrichment - fun classes to learn a new hobby or skill, and Certification Prep Programs - to prepare the learner to sit for national certification.

  • Credit for Work Experiences / Credit for Prior Learning

    Educational credit for paid or unpaid work experiences in which academic and career-related skills are or have been learned.

  • Customized Corporate Training

    The Workforce Development and Innovation team at Aims develops and delivers customized training solutions for business and industry in northern Colorado. Our team will create a customized solution to deliver the training when you want it, where you want and how you want it.

     
  • English as a Second Language (ESL)

    English as a Second Language courses developed to develop students' English language development and support their entry into higher education and the workforce.

  • Professional Development / Workshops

    A process in which the employee, with the support of their employer, undergoes various training programs to enhance their skills and acquire new knowledge and skills.

    • Your business trains a qualified, prescreened employee
    • Classes within the Aims Continuing Education program that aim to develop and/or improve skills for the workplace.
  • State Funded Training

    The Workforce Development and Innovation team writes and administers state training grants on behalf of companies.  The state grant program is referred to as CFEI (Colorado First Existing Industry), Colorado First is an application to train new hires while Existing Industry is an application to train existing/incumbent workers.
